Paula is an award winning artist having won two First Place awards for her pastels from the Cape Cod Art Association in Barnstable and the Creative Art Center in Chatham where she is a member. Paula is also a member of the Copley Society of Boston, a member of Castle Hill Art Association of Truro and a member of the Board of Advisors for the Kaji Aso Art Studio of Boston, Massachusetts.

Paula has studied art from Aline Gagne of Eastham, taken classes from Rosalie Nadeau and attended a "Monhegan Island Workshop: with Bill Maloney, Don Stone and Ralph Bush. She continues to study with well-known artists like Arnold Desmarais at the Cape Cod Art Association.

Her work in oils and pastels have also been shown at the Cape Cod Art Museum in Dennis, the Star Art Gallery in Orleans and a One Woman Show at the Seamen's Bank in Wellfleet, MA.
