Joseph Forjan grew up on Long Island, NY. He has always had a love of nature and the sea. Primarily self taught, he took classes from several Long Island watercolorists.

Joseph had been painting for 30 years. He experimented with different mediums but found he best expresses himself with watercolor. He has been a resident of Eastham, MA, for three years and a member of the Eastham Painters Guild for three years. He enjoys capturing the marshes, beaches, wildlife and buildings of Cape Cod in his watercolors.
