Snefrid "Sissi" Sneve-Schultze, is an award-winning artist who lives and works in Eastham, MA. She was born and raised in Bardu, Norway. She received her BA from Minnesota State University, studied art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA, and Fashion Design at Massachusetts College of Art in Boston where she lived and worked as a designer and pattern maker until her move to Cape Cod in 1993.

Since 2000, Sneve-Schultze has operated an art studio in Eastham, MA. Amongst her professional credits, Sneve-Schultze's work has been included in New England wide Exhibits, and both her landscapes and portraits has won awards.

Sneve-Schultze believes that what we choose to focus on and surround ourselves with in life affects the way in which we relate to ourselves, to others and to the world at large. Therefore, the emphasis of her artwork is on all that is positive and life affirming. "I want to know that every time the viewer gazes at one of my paintings that they are taken to a moment or place that fills them with warmth and happiness." In so doing, she feels that she fulfills her purpose as an artist.
