Snefrid "Sissi" Sneve-Schultze, is an award-winning artist who lives and works in Eastham, MA. She was born and raised in Bardu, Norway. She received her BA from Minnesota State University, studied art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA, and Fashion Design at Massachusetts College of Art in Boston where she lived and worked as a designer and pattern maker until her move to Cape Cod in 1993.

Since 2000, Sneve-Schultze has operated an art studio in Eastham, MA. Amongst her professional credits, Sneve-Schultze is a member of the prestigeous Oil Painters of America. Her work has been included in The National, 2009 exhibit, and All New England, 2008 and 2009 exhibits at Cape Cod Art Association, where she has been a juried artist member since 1997.

Sneve-Schultze believes that what we choose to focus on and surround ourselves with in life affects the way in which we relate to ourselves, to others and to the world at large. Therefore, the emphasis of her artwork is on all that is positive and life affirming. "I want to know that every time the viewer gazes at one of my paintings that they are taken to a moment or place that fills them with warmth and happiness." In so doing, she feels that she fulfills her purpose as an artist.
